No PC required – the camera operates stand-alone and can be placed wherever there is a LAN connection or an available modem. It even contains a high performance web server, so you can put the camera directly on the internet! Keep a close eye on the world around you. Or show your part of it through the web. A true network camera, not to be confused with mere "WebCams". It connects directly to a 10 or 100 MBit Ethernet network or to a modem for direct connection to an ISP. Since no PC is required you are free to mount it wherever you want. With its own built-in web server, it delivers high quality JPEG compressed images at up to 10 frames/second. No special viewing software is needed since the live images can be viewed directly through a standard Web browser. Supports all systems running TCP/IP with a standard web browser. Contains one digital output and one digital input for advanced application development.
