"I spent my childhood helping my parents in their art shop producing Balinese fabric kites. I didn`t like the job at first because I had no more time to play with my friends but then I got used to it. I still remember when my father said, `No one will give you money unless you work hard and are responsible in your work.` Realizing my family`s economical situation, I decided to work together with my family creating various Balinese fabric kites. In 1997 I was chosen to execute the family`s business. "Imagination and experiences become my inspiration in creating art works. I also read many books in relation to my art works. I have never been in exhibitions nor received awards, but I hope people will accept my works."
