This dual purpose, one step pocket hole boring jig can be fastened to a workbench for efficiency and safety or used as a portable tool to create perfectly aligned pocket holes. Using self tapping screws, your joint can be assembled and secured in a matter of minutes. If you desire to hide the hole you can plug it with a 3/8" dowel. The boring guide bushings are made of hardened steel for durability, spaced 7/8" on center and are a full 2" long to reduce stress on your bit.
