Striking out in a new direction in 2001, Crawford initiated the Helios Press imprint with the mission of publishing books that help us understand ourselves and the world around us. The initial goal is to build a list of popular psychology, self-help, and current events titles. Titles to date include The Psychology of War and The Medium, the Mystic, and the Physicist by Lawrence LeShan, How to Heal by Jeff Kane, MD, Healing with Nature by Susan Scott. Allworth Press continues to expand. The niches in which it publishes have grown to include not just art, graphic design, and photography, but also writing, performing arts, music, film, television, interior design, and architecture. By the end of 2004, more than 250 titles will be in print. Allworth Press is constantly seeking to publish books that meet the needs of creative professionals in these areas. Suggestions and insights from readers are welcomed as an aid in determining the best book and authors for the future. |
